How It Works

How The Partnership Works

Common Scale Media manages the homeowner acquisition process from the initial advertisement through to a qualified prospect actually attending an estimate or consultation.

We Build The System. Your Team Closes The Job.

We handle the ads, landing pages, automated follow-up, qualification and appointment booking — so your team can spend more time quoting and winning real projects.

  1. 01

Understand Your Business & Ideal Projects

We review your services, average project value, location, capacity, ideal customer and the types of jobs you want more of.

We then agree on what qualifies as a legitimate opportunity before launching anything.

  2. 02

    Create & Run The Ads

We write the ad copy, produce the creatives and build the campaigns inside your advertising account.

You pay the advertising platforms directly and retain full visibility over your ad spend.

  3. 03

Send Homeowners Through A Dedicated Funnel

Interested homeowners are sent through a campaign-specific landing page or lead form designed to capture the information required to assess whether they're a potential fit.

Depending on your business, this may include:

    • Type of renovation
    • Property ownership
    • Location
    • Approximate project budget
    • Desired timeline
    • Scope of work
  4. 04

    Follow Up Immediately

Automated SMS and email follow-up begins as soon as the enquiry comes in.

We continue following up with prospects who don't respond immediately rather than letting potentially valuable enquiries disappear.

  5. 05

    Qualify The Homeowner

We qualify prospects against the criteria agreed with you before the campaign begins.

The goal is to prevent your team from wasting time chasing people who were never realistically going to become customers.

  6. 06

    Book The Appointment

Once qualified, we schedule the homeowner into your calendar for an estimate, consultation or site visit.

We continue confirming and reminding the prospect leading up to the appointment.

  7. 07

They Show Up. You Take Over.

Once the homeowner attends the scheduled appointment, your team takes over.

Depending on your business, this may include:

    • Inspect the project
    • Build the relationship
    • Provide the quote
    • Close the job

We handle acquisition. You handle the sale.

How The Whole System Fits Together

From Ad To Attended Appointment

Every part of the system is connected. The goal isn't a lead — it's a qualified homeowner sitting down with your team.

You Close The Job

We handle everything up to the attended appointment. Once the homeowner is in front of your team, you inspect the project, provide the quote and close the job.

Our Performance-Based Model

No Monthly Retainer. Pay When Qualified Homeowners Show Up.

Traditional marketing agencies usually charge you every month regardless of whether the leads they generate turn into real conversations. We structure things differently.

$500 One-Time Setup

This covers the initial campaign build, funnel setup, qualification process, CRM infrastructure, tracking and follow-up systems.

$200 Per Qualified Show-Up

You pay a $200 performance fee when a qualified homeowner actually attends their scheduled appointment.

You Cover The Advertising Spend

Your advertising budget is paid directly to the advertising platform. There is no markup on your media spend and you maintain visibility over exactly what is being spent.

No Monthly Agency Retainer

We don't get paid simply because another month passes. Our performance fees are tied to qualified homeowners actually making it through the funnel and showing up.

No qualified show-up = no $200 performance fee.

What Counts As A Qualified Show-Up?

The exact qualification criteria are agreed before the campaign begins. Depending on your business, this may include:

  • Homeowner or authorised decision-maker
  • Located inside your agreed service area
  • Interested in a service you actually provide
  • Meets the agreed minimum project criteria
  • Has a realistic project timeline
  • Books an appointment with your team
  • Actually attends the scheduled estimate, consultation or site visit

If somebody doesn't meet the agreed criteria, they don't count as a qualified appointment.

Why The Model Works

Our Incentives Are Aligned With Yours

You shouldn't be paying an agency simply to generate form submissions. Our job is to move prospects further through the acquisition process.

You pay the ad platform for attention.

You pay us when that attention turns into a qualified homeowner sitting in front of you.

Then your team does what it does best: quote the project and win the work.
